This Burmese monk was standing on a table giving directions to the novices who had come to receive gifts from the people. He seemed like a good people entry. Right now I'm in the Chicago airport awaiting a flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil. I'm on my way to visit the mosquitos in the Pantanal.

This is a great shot. Lots of passion in his face.
I just googled Pantanal and it looks like you will have many photo opportunities. I can only dream of traveling the globe like you do.
Good entry and good luck, WC.

And have money for plane fare...lol. Great people shot, Jen. Love his expression. I saw Thad today and told him you were on your way to Brazil. We were at a seminar in Boston. Wishing you a safe and exciting trip!

Nice capture, Jen. Think you have about double the space above his head, than is needed. You'll see the difference in his eyes when you crop it. (Seriously).

Refering to your above comment as reply on what Tick has commented, like to say that 'old' is a relative understanding to me. You hade a good 'old' (= experienced)eye for this scene Jen, resulting in a good entry for the 'people' contest.

Good Luck, and have a safe trip.

Regards, Cornelius.
