This medium sized heron is one of the most beautiful. It is also very shy and hard to find. It pretty much hides so the light is difficult. All I have to say is Yea, I saw one. Thanks in advance for any comments. ENJOY!

That medium sized heron sure is one of the most beautiful. Jeannie, you not only can say you saw one(with proof!) but you can say you shot one... again with proof! :o)

Remarkably amazing bird, Jen and you have captured every color in his plummage so nicely contrasted as he is with the earthy tones behind him. Love the way his head tips so we can get a profile view. Beautifully done!
