Thought black and white might be effective. The glacier front is much taller than it looks here. I took this from a high vantage point. The glacier is in Argentine Patagonia. Thanks for any looks. ENJOY!
The trees in the bottom/left in your image is the reference to me. I even took into account that the trees are in the foreground while the glacier has more distance (so appear to be smaller).

Excellent b/w for the challenge, very impressive to see a glacier up close. Such great textures and a dreamy background. Would love to see this one in the coloured version, to see the blue ice
Glaciers like this are of such a massive scale that a photo can't really show its magnitude. But, this one comes very close. An Internet search shows this glacier to be 3 miles wide, 558 feet deep, with 240 feet above the water line, and 19 miles long - that's a lot of ice! The contrast of this b/w shows the details of the fissures and the ice field clouds. Wonderful! Thad
