Italy must be beautiful! I hope I’ll go there one day! This is my version of the “Tuscany Doorway” by Joan Hansen. Thanks to her experienced directions, I was able to redraw her picture in few weeks. As usual, I will appreciate your comments on it.

Absolutely beautiful! You did a most wonderfully soft colourful painting of this....very nice! And the framing is good too, but I think I would have used that shade of gray as the rocks are..But you are such a great artist..I love looking at your creations..High marks from me.

FEAR is a darkroom where negatives develop.
Of your paintings so far, this is my personal favorite. It could be the purples and rich burgundys. It could be the stonework. It could be the charm and balance of the entire scene and the fact that I can't paint or draw at all. So, all factors combined, I'm pretty impressed with this lovely composition. I do agree with Lauren that the matte color could be changed but I am voting on your painting alone. Well done.

Thank you all guys for your support on Tuscany Doorway. Your words really encouraged me to paint more and more. However, I had my 15 minutes of fame but the painting seems to be not valuable enough to enter the Perm galleries. :) However, I will not stop painting, but opposite – I will prove myself I can do better. And I will always remember that the important opinion is actually your opinion, so again, thanks for your support and see you!

Being naturally disagreeable, I have to disagree with your self criticism. While it is great to prove yourself by doing better, the important opinion is yours. Don't play to the gallery, 'cause when you do, you lose something of your own creativity. Rather, create works which please YOU. When you do that, you create the best of YOU, and the world will surely follow because you do have a talent for this.
