You've made a wonderful statement there. Thank God it may be true if technology does not do us in first. Wonderful perspective, the pillars reaching up to heaven giving this an ageless symbolism, yet we can see the jet trails in the sky kind of uniting two totally different human time frames. So, the question is, who has/had the greater technology? This photo gives one pause to ponder.

I like the pillar placement, where you chose to stand, in the photo. Organized and balanced. I like the color, shape, and textures of the bricks. Your title, "The Old and the New" hold true and as Cynlee said, "this photo gives one pause to ponder." Well done Jeremy.
