Jeremy - You nicely captured the remoteness of this regions, and, with the rugged terrain, it is understandable that the farmer abandoned the area.

A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken. - James Dent

This is a picture that I can appreciate. The area I was born in looks very similar to this, lots of abandoned farm houses/barns, dry, etc. I love the muted colors this environment boasts.

Nice shot, Jeremy. There's lots more in those clouds that isn't showing here though. I'll send you some info.

Great shot. It reveals so much of the inner parts of USA.

gorgeous place, where exactly is it taken? It really is a pity the farm is all run down, i wouldn't mind living there myself. Well, great shot and as the ^ said.... "It reveals so much of the inner parts of USA." Couldn't be more true.
Thanks for sharing!

What an absolutely beautiful scene! It shows so much loneliness.
This must have been a lovely little farm at one time. What a desolate area and the little place is so very abandoned. I get a real soft feeling looking at this. Thank you so much. Verena

Life is not easy for any of us. But what of that? We must have perseverance and above all confidence in ourselves. We must believe that we are gifted for something and that this thing must be attained. --Marie Curie Polish-French chemist
