This is where I'd rather be. In our area the current temp is 11 degrees - expected high 14 - winds 25-35 mph - gusts to 40. Real feel/ wind chill factor -15!!! Nuff said!!!
Oh I hear ya Laura, I love that carpeted walk way, reminds me of new take on the red carpet. Lovely image, with very good composition, keep thinking Spring! :) tigs =^..^=
Laura , I like to tease you, as you've forgotten to tell us whether the temperature was in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit, lol!!! Inviting scene for a swim, but I will delay my decision as long as there's a chance for hypothermia.
Excellent capture however. Perfectly done my friend!

Now that's a beautiful and warming sight! I love seeing the different colors of beach umbrellas and the people enjoying the day in the sun. It's below zero here again, but I am actually thinking about driving to the beach up at Lake Erie....to take pictures!
i hear ya on the coldness tweety bird! cold isnt the word for it! no end & in sight as well. laura im amazed at the clarity of this shot. its so sharp i got cut looking at it!
Hey relax it's late February already Laura! but I've gotta say this is certainly a warming image. Here's something for you if you can bear to click on it. Lol
Just think on a day like the one you're describing you'd have the place to yourself; and possible some polar bears or penguins looking for a summer retreat. Lovely warm lighting and a good capture of the beach scene.
