This is where I'd rather be. In our area the current temp is 11 degrees - expected high 14 - winds 25-35 mph - gusts to 40. Real feel/ wind chill factor -15!!! Nuff said!!!

Oh I hear ya Laura, I love that carpeted walk way, reminds me of new take on the red carpet. Lovely image, with very good composition, keep thinking Spring! :) tigs =^..^=

Now that's a beautiful and warming sight! I love seeing the different colors of beach umbrellas and the people enjoying the day in the sun. It's below zero here again, but I am actually thinking about driving to the beach up at Lake Erie....to take pictures!

Just think on a day like the one you're describing you'd have the place to yourself; and possible some polar bears or penguins looking for a summer retreat.
