My interpretation for the circles contest - random colored pastel discs in a circular bowl. p.s. these discs are edible - can anyone guess what they are.

I remember eating them, I liked the licorice one the best, but I can't remember the name of the candy. Great idea for the contest.

They look like necco wafers (god, I haven't seen those in an eternity!). I used to buy them back when penny candy was really a penny (or a nickel).

Great idea, Laura! I like that their flat, matte coloration is surrounded by the dancing light reflections of the glass plate.
