The Poinsettia!!! - one of my favorite plants that are in full abundance this time of the year. Recently purchased at my local farm market - photographed it on my porch on a day in which the light was diffused.This image is my contribution to Foofy Friday - Kindly Enjoy!!!! People are like cameras--sometimes they lose focus.
Wow... that is a perfect shot of a poinsettia, so crisp you could cut paper with it. I rarely see the stamen with focal clarity such as this, outside my own vision. The diffused light you mentioned made all the difference in allowing us to see down into the shadows. You got a good deal on it--it's very healthy-looking, no dead edges or white spots on the leaves and petals. Feliz Navidad! (a nod to its origin)
