There are so many beautiful colors associated with Peruvian Lilies - this variety is called Flaming Star - shot in late August soaking in the 5:00 p.m. sun. - Kindly Enjoy - Wishing everyone a Great Weekend - My heart goes out to the people who live along the North and South Carolina coast (and many who have evacuated), who will be impacted by hurricane Florence. At this time, she has been downgraded to a Cat 2 with 105 mph winds but is expected to stall for two plus days dumping 30 inches of rain.

Laura, although I live on the other side of the big pond (aka Atlantic Ocean), my heart goes out as well to the people who are suffering or who will suffer by the violence of 'Florence'.
In my former career my ship and her crew (inclusive me of course) was in the middle of the Caribbean sea (west of the Island Martinique) struck by a hurricane. I'll never forget this terrible 'experience'.
Although somewhat difficult, I want to switch to your wonderful Foofy Friday contribution. A striking post! The well chosen background is enhancing its beauty!
