Taken on the Island of Aix, as I was discovering this small island of the atlantic I was surprised to see this old door and window in the wall!

Wow, beautiful shot. The frame also adds a nice touch to it.

Like Donna before me I also adore old doors and windows, particularly the ones which are barred or locked like the window here ...
Great sunlight too.
Altogether peaceful home-like feeling with a not so small dose of nostalgy ...
Many thanks, Jess !!!

Great subject, nice lighting...a keeper. I'm not all that keen on the frame, though. Probably because I don't understand it as relating to the subject....

Putting your pictures in my favorites is the highest honor I can give you. If I do not get to your pictures as soon as you post them, I apologize. I try. Also if I do not respond for awhile it doesn't mean I'm ignoring you, it just means I'm really tied up with life.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words... I love this shot!! It makes me wonder whats behind the door? Does someone actually live there... how long has it been there? I love to look at this picture and just imagine..

I love door and window shots too, seems I'm not the only crazy one here, (according to my family) Are you really only 17? Your photography is very mature, you have an exceptionaly good eye.

Cheers! Ray.
