This is something new I'm trying, please tell me what you think, don't hesitate to make any suggestions. I wanted to do something a bit different, hope you'll like it!

Your have a talent when it comes to mystifying an image,
I've seen several of your pictures that I like just for this effect,
I love the lightning coming from the bottom right, although I think this makes the colors of the rose look a bit dull, some slight loss of contrast,
I love the background, as I said, and as your title suggests, a mystery,
You say you're trying something new, I hope you try it more,
I ♥ it a lot,

If you look too closely, you aren't looking at a photograph anymore - General observation
I think the colour is unusual and really gorgeous, personally I would use some more contrast on the rose so it stands out more, but I really like your presentation and the mysterious atmosphere of this beautiful image:)

Well Jess, it's different, but it's nice. Maybe a little too dark, but on the other hand that reinforces the mysterious feeling on this capture.

Definitely a new look! I like this one; the contrast of the red with the darker colors is great, and your title is perfect, it definitely provokes a sense of the unknown. Keep up the great work :)

A mysterious eloquent rose. The rose is lovely as it floats towards us with a 3D type effect. The details, such as the delicate layers of petals, are well shown. I agree that this is a bit dark, but everything else is working well. The rose appears beautiful on the blurred background - it seems to pop out of that garden in a charming way. Sorry if I repeated myself. Oh Jess, this is lovely on my desktop and a keeper :^)
