"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
Hello little Sister. What a beautiful view you have. You are a very feminine version of "Le Penseur". Please thank your sister Jess for this great picture with this beautiful dark blue sea.
Wow...I love the colors in this picture! It's so lovely the way she's gazing out at sea....it seams to tell a story. Excellent job! What's that stick-like object protruding in the background?
The yound lady is waiting for an answer and hopes to get it from the returning tide. But the sea teases her as it makes its way past her feet. The sky is empty and of no help as she ponders her question. The sea is the key, it is holding the answer. It knows the solution. It is there, in front of her, yet, she cannot touch it, or grab it, or even understand it. And so, for now, the tide has but one choice and it smiles broadly and ripples past her making but very small waves in the early evening.
Hey Jess,
Love the look on her face, interested in what is far, far away, near the horizon,
I think you could make the image stand out more by letting her stand more to her right, so that she is enlightened by the sun, currently she is part of a shade, or perhaps the sun was just too low that moment, )~8
Yet I love the idea behind your shot here, (~8
