It is not just the symmetry of the ice, but the contrast between the rough ice and the smooth clouds above that makes this interesting for me. Nice picture and welcome to Caedes.
Welcome to caedes. Contrast bewteen the ice and the sky? Ok, valid point but for me it is the contrast between the rough ice and the smooth sea. Well done all the way around!
"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
WOW!!! That is amazing. I cant believe how massive that glacier is and how blue the ice looks! I love the way the mountain in the background appears to look almost soft and submissive in the shadow of the glacier, which is strange since mountains are most often portrayed as majestic and unyielding. The cloud base softens it somehow! Amazing shot!
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom i trust". Psalm 91: 1 and 2
Talk about a photo opportunity.... WOW! You have everything in frame and a very nice frame. What a great pic to have for life. If it sounds like I'm jealous it's because I'am....hehe.
