Traveling along Stephens Passage toward Taku Harbor we saw a pod of 5 orcas coming right at us. The timing couldnt have been more perfect at sunset. There was a point where they were 20 feet from the boat, we were seeing them swimming below us, but they moved so fast that the pictures came out blurry.

the cloud standing over the whale makes it very moody. it doesn't quite look like sunset, because the sky is dark grey. it the colors- copper and grey... it seems like it's in a different sortof limbo state... not sunset at all.
