As you can see...this thing is huge :-D An evening shot, again after most people have left, allows me to have the one solitary figure, rather than hordes, to demonstrate the scale of the beast, as well as the fading light to allow a longer exposure to blur the water's motion. This is one of my favourite places on earth, and if you ever go to Iceland - don't miss it! Make sure you're there at the right time though...

man these photos are awesome
there is a gentle soft majesty about them
your compositions are as good as anything i could think of
youre right the inclusion of just one person in each of the last two ive commented on is exactly what the shot needs

im looking forward to seeing more of iceland through your camera lens
thanks for showing these to us

wow i can wee why this is one of your favorite spots...i think it would be mine too! so incredibly beautiful! love the motion in the water...smooth looking. i really like the little bit of green surrounding the fall...and the contrast in this entire shot is so perfect. i agree...it was nice to have that single person there to get a sense of scale. great capture...very clear and sharp...truly beautiful! ~abby

This was by far the highlight of my voting booth experience tonight. Thanks for saving it for me. As far as the photo - excellent! I love the blur job you did on it with the mist and the addition of a solo person to give it perspective was a very nice addition.

I do like this one. The person gives it awesome scale. Otherwise you would believe just how big honking huge it is. Unbelievable. Praise God for the amazing Beauty he has placed on this earth for us to view! To see this and then realize that as huge and wonderful and majestic it is, that God is bigger and more wonderful, and that he cares for you and I and what happens to us. It truly gives one pause. Great shot! Keep up the good work.

P.S. Let me know what you think of my gallery if you get the chance! Have a great day!
