Taking minimal gear, I was there some fifteen minutes later, and just in time - as I set up, the clouds obviously thinned somewhat, allowing the final light of the day to diffuse through, turning the approaching snow-shower a glorious shade of orangey-pink. Another couple of minutes and the snowflakes were falling, the colour gone, and I was on my way back down to the warm campervan!
