I'd seen the waterfall from the road in the valley, and despite grey skies and intermittent snow had decided that it'd be worth running up the mountainside for. Taking minimal gear, I was there some fifteen minutes later, and just in time - as I set up, the clouds obviously thinned somewhat, allowing the final light of the day to diffuse through, turning the approaching snow-shower a glorious shade of orangey-pink. Another couple of minutes and the snowflakes were falling, the colour gone, and I was on my way back down to the warm campervan!

Very nice photo. Between the blurring of the water, the fading ridges, and the warm ambient light through the clouds, the shot looks somewhat surreal. Looks like one of those places that you can't truly appreciate without being there firsthand.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
