I like the gritty texture of this photo and the vibrant colours. It was taken from a scan so it's not quite as sharp as the original. ( Keene, Ontario ) If you download it, at least put in a vote !

I'm really into goth rock and new wave. My favorite band is The Birthday Massacre. The guy in my avatar is, in fact, a guy. His name is Mana from the band Malice Mizer.

I like it just as it is. Looks very natural, as it should be . No messing with it, just a fine photo, feels so peaceful. The colours are sooo good. And the way the depth is of the fence. I LOVE this photo!! I was raised in South Dakota and it reminds me of that..its wonderful!!!

I really like this shot, the faint softness gives it a much more realistic look. Well done !

That is excellent. Really, except for the fact that it's a scan. I'm going to have to look up where Keene is on the map. I'm around London, Ontario. :)

You took the words right out of .. uhm, my fingers?

I wholeheartedly agree that the grittiness of the image enhances it. Although, I still would like to see the 'un-scanned' version, too.

If I am understading you correctly, the vibrancy of the colours offsets any image degradation that ocurred through the scanning process? Right, or left? The saturation is indeed exquisite.

Your composition is, as always, great.

I am wondering, at the sacrifice of some of the foreground, could not more of the fence have been included? The presence of that lone tree along the fence line is intriguing and to incorporate more of it as well, could ... could improve the photo's 'story' somewhat. A suggestion, a thought.

Again, thanks for sharing ... and thanks for your efforts.

I like it. A c-index of 71 ain't bad a'tall. It makes a nice desktop, simple, uncluttered yet colorful. Nicely done.

The past is only a memory, the future a fantasy. it's only in the present that we truly live.

All thou it's not the sharpest shot & the noise distracts from it's true beauty, it's a rly cool shot (the unsharpness it's understandeble, but the noise could be easily removed). Rly love the contrast between the abundance of yellow & the blue of the sky... Neat shot.

Beauty is no quality in things themselves. It exists merely in the mind which contemplates them, and each mind perceives a different beauty.
