Taken during one of my many hikes. I liked this photo because it was crisp and refreshing, to me. ( Bradford, Ontario )

Crisp indeed! Nice focus and angle! The foreground tree i'm guessing is a Woodpeckers home.

The upward angle lends some interest. The tree trunks are a bit dark to see any fine details. Though the center tree is meant to be the focus, there are so many other similarly colored trees in the picture that you don't notice it. The other leafless tree immediately behind it "steals" the focus. It might actually make a more interesting picture to come back when the trees are in leaf or in the fall when the colored leaves "crown" the dead pine, then it would stand out much more.

I agree with Jeff above, the two trees in the center are slightly distracting and this would be beautiful in the fall or spring.
