Just further along the corridor from the reception area in Denbigh Asylum. At this point was tip toeing along trying not to break the silence with my foot steps. I have to admit that in the case of this Asylum, I have to agree with a good photography motto.. take only photos and leave only footprints. We are heading towards another corridor off shoot and another ward....

So very sparse and again very depression to think of the history past of this being a asylum. Thanks Jo for sharing this tour of this old building

It's really sad to see that they have let this beautiful building run down, this would be a marvelous place if it was all updated. It would be a great Bed & Breakfast.

You can also take a memory whether good or bad BC. I am enjoying walking these halls with you and Al.
Wonderful series.

The photo of the corridor is nice,Jo,it is too bad the building was abandoned,it is good that you could take several photos of this place.

The lighting is much better in this corridor shot Jo, it's such a shame to see this old building slowly rot away.

It is a beautiful if somewhat austere building from the outside but the state of repair it is in now is a tragedy, thanks to the previous private owner who apparently stripped it of many features - floors, stonework etc, and sold off much of the beautiful land surounding it. Then after that the Vandalism !
Denbigh Metal,Ystafell Fwyta, whatever name it gets, it must have many ghosts ! I would not like to live there if it ever gets converted into housing :(

You are giving a good insight into this place Jo :)
