The cover on the bridge was to protect the planks that you rode across from the elements like ice and snow, and to make the bridge more visible in the snow. There are not that many of them left here in the states. Pretty good picture! :c)

Reminds me of the bridge that was in that movie Beetlejuice. Whenever they went over the edge and drowned. Great picture really calming.
