I'm such a sucker for bridge photos! The sepia works well here. Is it me, or is the photo a little rotated counterclockwise (maybe you were holding camera at a slight angle)? Great capture.
By the looks of it I would say they laid a new line for a bigger train and just left the old one there? Nice shot Jojo, I agree that sepia is just right for this shot.
Hmm this one has given me a few idea's to try sometime. I agree with the others about the sepia tone and the tilt. Love the way those lines and angles lead the eyes.
Thanks everyone.I probably should have rotated it 1 degree CW.That is the beauty of digital you can always go back and improve your image.
Peace&Respect Jojo
P.S. Darryl I watched a freight train go over the bridge
Lovely atmospheric shot, Jojo, nicely composed. The inner rails certainly don't seem to have been used much recently judging by their "rusty" look which lends weight to Sam's suggestion...
I really like the composition here - it would have been easy to stand in the middle of the tracks and take one shot up high, and one down low. This works well, especially in Sepia! Good work! You might try making a wall poster out of it at www.blockposters.com
