jojo, I really like this a lot! Beautiful composition and colors, and perfect exposure, which is hard to get with snow and sky together. Excellent job!
I can't believe I missed this one. Many people would have just taken the shot of th tree but your eye caught a picture different and unique in it's composition. Nice work.
Lol ... oh my, well, the price I paid was worth it.
Why am I laughing, you ask? At myself, at myself ... I just did, what I almost did with another of your images a few moments back. You see, I learned, or thought I had learned a valuable lesson today. And that is, finish writing your comments, then go back and view and check to see if you remembered to put the image into your favourites.
Do not ... do not ... go back and check mid-commentary, or you will have to 'gather your thoughts ... a second time,' lol.
But, as I said the price I paid was worth it, I did, in fact get your image into my favs ... a small price to pay in having to come back and write some words for you.
This photo jumped out of your galleries and upon first seeing this image, I looked ... and looked ... and looked for some sort of manipulation. I think groo2k said it well, in that your unique perspective is just that, unexpected. Add to that, that the reflected image is almost flawless and the burst of colour it provides and your minds' eye is questioning what it is seeing.
The balance of the 'warmth' of the lighting and colour of the tree and the 'cool' of the bank and water, is another juxtaposition that fits nicely into the scene.
Wow thus got my head thinking...I thought you took a pic and put it upside down. Then when I opened it up I realized it was a reflection. Very creative and awsome pic!
Hi Jojo ! This came up in my voting booth today & I just wanted to let you know how much I liked it. I love that tree's reflection, from the darker water at the shore it appears to be floating, a very cool effect. Download & a 10 from me, where it counts !

Wow that’s one of the best reflections I ever saw. It’s so clear that without the bubbles you wouldn’t know its water. Now lets turn it upside down and mess a few minds up :-)
