An interesting photo.....what I like most, as funny as it may sound? is the little sunlight at the right of the window pane....and the darkness between the two windows..makes one wonder what is there....and then the sun at the other side..very very nice!
Interesting perspective...now, wouldn't it be nice if no matter what the season, we always had one window looking out towards spring...creative shot.:Pat.
There's a lot to like here. Original waterglass for one. I love to see the frames and mullions painted so many times that they loose their shape over the years. Most of all I think that the reflection of the trees in the closest window just look like they are part of the trees behind the house in the light. They seem to be all on one plane
"It is important to remember that these things, the machinery of photography, are no more than a means to an end. It is easy enough - and a blind alley - to mistake those means for the end itself." - Charlie Waite
This is the type of photo that hooked me on your work. It lets you ponder, it draws you in deeper and entire story can be created from this first look through the window. This is a 10 in my book and I thank you.
The world is changed. I feel it in the water. I feel it in the earth. I smell it in the air. Much that once was, is lost, for none now live who remember it. -Lord of the Rings, The Fellowship of the Ring
All has been said before me so I can only add that I would recognise your artistic eye in a shot even in complete darkness !!!! LOL
This is my favourite subject by the way ... windows showing things inside and outside and these ones show things in between moreover ...
