After a nice hike I came upon the Mill and although the sky did'nt cooperate the rest of the landscape was a welcome sight.

That is gorgeous, and I think what makes it is the fence in front!!then your eye is led to the water and then the mill...its great! very beautiful.

A beautiful composition.
I love the fence at the bottom foreground and the overhanging branches and leaves at the top, that really serve to frame this image quite nicely.
There are some really nice elements that work well in this image. The colour of the building ... draws your eye to the background, the swell of the small falls at the dam ... does likewise ... the little natural glen on the opposite bank ... it's almost like having a tour guide with you as you view ... as your eye is naturally lead around the scene.
