Shot near St.Genevieve Missouri on a Autumn photo safari with my friend Russ M.We headed east to the Mississippi river and crossed at Chester Illinois into the Land of Lincoln then headed up highway 3 north to two old French forts for some more shots before crossing the Mississippi again into old St.Lou.

Great title for this one Joseph as it certainly does appear as if the sun is bein restrained by those leaves but ready to burst free at any moment...wonderful glowing color and capture.:Pat.

Thanks JoJo, for the narrative - it sounds like you had a good trip. This capture is gorgeous. The sunlight is trying its best to get through those leaves. And it caused a lovely contrast between the various foliage. The trees add some frame work to this image. The colors, especially those bright yellows, couldn't be prettier. A super tribute to natures autumn :*>
