The Indiana Dunes state park was closer than the one in Michigan from Chicago. It was very nice but the one in Michigan is better.Lake Michigan was warmer this time than the last.

Having lived, until a year ago, a thousand km's from the sea, it was always SO exciting to know, whenever we went down there, to know you're going to see the ocean over the next horison/dune. And that is what this picture reminds me of.It realy brings back some dear memories. Thanks for sharing.
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
Neat capture of the dunes Jojo. A bit of rotation to the right would help keep the water from draining out :)
I always feel like I am standing on a short leg or something because many of my images need to be rotated.
I love the cool summer colors that are in this image. this reminds me of Dauphin Island where we just returned from....
sweet capture. Thank you for sharing this with me ;=)
