What is this life if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare. No time to stand beneath the boughs And stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, when woods we pass, Where squirrels hide their nuts in grass. No time to see, in broad daylight, Streams full of stars, like skies at night. No time to turn at Beauty's glance, And watch her feet, how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can Enrich that smile her eyes began. A poor life this if, full of care, We have no time to stand and stare

Very nice shot. I particularly like the balance in the composition.

Great image, i love the people walking down the path in the distance. Only change I'd make is to remove the text (or if you're really attached to it, at least center it on the image)...

Lovely place and capture Jon. I like the placement of the text. Anywhere else would take away from the peaceful walk I'm pretending to take. ;) favs

I love this. The trees all have green leaves, while the ground is covered in a seemingly Autumn-like fashion. Excellent.

Three passions, simple but overwhelmingly strong, have governed my life: the longing for love, the search for knowledge, and unbearable pity for the suffering of mankind. --Bertrand Russell

This photo truly embodies the spirit of your poem. I vote it a 10/10 and it's a keeper for me.

Excellent subject. A book that is written about this precise topic is Josef Pieper's "Leisure, the Basis of Culture" one of the books everyone desparately needs to read today in our busy work-a-day world.
