This was taken in Snow Canyon which is in southern Utah. It was amazing how the the weather had cut patterns in the hardened sand dunes.

Good contrast and light balance. The light is spread evenely on the whole shot gives a good idea of the warm climate there.

Detailing and composition is excellent overall here. If I would change anything it would be to reduce the stark cyan colouration by adding some magenta tone into it with a graduated filter. Other than that a very nice piece indeed.

"Snow" Canyon, eh? I'll show ya snow. I like this image quite a bit. The clouds look create, the colors are fantastic... My only complaint is the lack of any depth perception. Maybe if there were more cracks or mounds int he sand we would be able to better get a feel for the shape of the land. Maybe there is no shape and I am wrong totally about this. :-) Anyways, still a great image. Nice work.
