The Provo River Falls is in the Unita Mountains. This area is about 9000 feet in elevation and the snow doesn't usually melt until the first part of July.

Great shot. Those rocks are awesome. I need some of those here. Very nice work.

The Bible tells us to love our neighbors, and also to love our enemies; probably because generally they are the same people. G. K. Chesterton ........ My Gallery

Amazing shot of the rocks and I can hear the water rushing down them. Very nice composition and colors. Well done Jacky and thanks for sharing this beauty. Anita

Age is a state of mind :) And now that I'm 60, my mind is really in a state :)

Yep, love those rocks. Lots of texture and contrast. The running water has been captured nicely as well. The entire composition is nicely assembled. It's a keeper for me.

A really top-notch capture of these fascinating rocks and I love the way you've composed this shot, so my eye moves up through the water and into the trees. When I look closely, the colours in the rocks are almost jewel-like.

Must be jolly cold in this region if the snow doesn't melt until July! Out of interest, do you have further details about the geology? Those layered shapes in the rock strata have really caught my attention!

Wonderful photo. I know exactly where this is. Haven't been up there for a few years and miss it terribly.
