Another image of Grand Canyon. You really need to open this one up to see the depth of this wonderous canyon. This was taken on the West Rim Drive on the way to Hermits Rest.
just great! the texture on the rocks is very well defined. the colors are deep and beautiful. you can even see the detail of the river (or maybe a path) at the bottom of the canyon. from which vantage point did you take the photograph.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I've never experienced the Canyon with a bluish overtone before. It works so well with the red rock and the depth. Usually it's seen with a warmer orange tone, but this works very very well. Can't wait to see more :)PJ
An awesome post Jackie. I just returned from Arizona and only got to Canyon Lake this time. I've been to the Canyon several times and it's beauty if so hard to bring into pictures but you've managed here to show how gorgeous it is. Stunning.
I've been off visiting my brother in Arizona and hope to catch up soon. I enjoy every single post that you my friends put out here and even though I can’t seem to find enough time to comment on each individual one, know that I've looked at all of them. I truly enjoy seeing all of the beauty we share from around the world and am always happy to see you at My Gallery. Thanks everyone, Anita
