I made the sky blue with photoshop 7. It was too bland (grey) without it. I also added color and contrast to everything else. Oh, this was one of the places I stayed. It's called Dromoland Castle. There were a lot of Italians flying in on Helicopters and Englishmen playing croquet. The hotel was hosting all manner of old world snob games for the guests. Large stretch Mercedes limos abounded. Who knew they even had this stuff in Ireland?

Nice place.
Just a critic: you edited the sky and that's a good job. But there are no shades and no sunbeams on the castle and the lawn...

I think you did a good job also... but I was thinking you could try going the other way as well and make it look all stormy and dark... I think that would work well with the subject... but good job anyway. Looks like it would have been a great place to stay (and expensive too by the sounds of it...)

very nicely done... this grass is rather vivid.
And yeah I'm curious too to see this castle looking more dark...like a haunted castle^^

I don't have the skill to add sunbeams. It took me hours just to make the sky blue. I didn't think of going darker gray, but that's an idea. If I weren't totally bored with the subject, I'd get right on that. :)

Great shot but the reflections on the glass should be blue also, in line with the changes you made to the sky.
Otherwise great work !!

I like this picture, but I agree with Samatar. It would be great to see this in a gloomy type setting. -Meg
