Taken in Cuyahoga Valley National Park - Blue Hen Falls, so named for the many Great Blue Herons who frequent the valley. A cold blustery day that yielded many surprises. Canon Powershot A95. Hope you like this one!
What a capture Jan....I love the varying shades of light that are in this image along with the different shades of leaves& the water vs. the ground...it all makes me think of lot's of textures. This is a 'touchy feel' picture. I feel like I can touch what is there & can feel what it would be like if I were there! Into my fav's on my HD & thank you :))
My goodnes Jan; This is by far one of the best fall images I've seen. I live out in the far west, so we don't have hardwood forests to enjoy. Most emphatically a 10 x 10. Only wish I could give it more. It's also going into my favorites.
I hold it true that thoughts are things; They're endowed with bodies, breath and wings:
And that we send them forth to fill the world with good results, or ill.
That which we call our secret thought speeds forth to earth's remotest spot, leaving it's blessings or it's woes like tracks behind it as it goes.
We build our future, thought by thought for good or for ill, yet know it not.
Yet so the universe was wrought .
Thought is another name for fate.
Choose then thy destiny and wait, for Love brings Love and Hate brings Hate. - Henry Van Dyke.
All things Bright and Beautiful;
All things Big and Small;
All things Wise and Wondeful;
The Good Lord made them all!

May God's love fill you
A true beauty. Exquisite. It's going in files as well. I have relatives that live up that area. I must call them and make they are aware of this park. The part of the photo that I like best is the way the light and scenery plays through the trees in the upper part of the photo. It is delightful to look at. Pat
