Apop.Photofiltre. CSN&Y had a line in a song "Woodstock" that said ' we are stardust we are golden ' and they couldn't have been more right. We are made up of the same elements that make up the universe, so when you go outside at night and look up at the stars there's a good chance you'll bring some fine particles of stardust back in with you, on your shirt and in your hair. The earth is covered by millions of tons of stardust everyday. You might have dust from a Super Nova that flared out millions of years ago when the dinosaurs were alive but was millions of light years away and is just now reaching the earth. MAN..... FAR OUT!! Something to think about. Thanks and that concludes todays lesson my Star Children, LOL Oh and all comments are truly appreciated. J

Your narrative was fascinating, my dear. I love the view of the galaxy with all the little stars. Does make one feel rather insignificant in the face of so much space. Great post, John!

Reminds me of Babylon 5. There's a quote from Ambassador Delenn: "We are all star stuff. We are the universe made manifest, trying to figure itself out." I really like that idea.

Great work.

Like a rich tapestry of stars, makes me feel as if I was gazing at space from a ship. Really really really cool. I am astounded by the concept too, that supernovas exploding created the matter we are and are on. I love astromnomy too. :)
