If it is a ripper, it reminds me of a thread ripper - the kind you use in needlework to undo stitches in order to correct mistakes or alter ready-made garments. Otherwise, it reminds me of aircraft flying loop-the-loops in formation.
Whichever, it is a beautiful colour and really stunning design.

Jack is certainly the ripper I thought of. If that's not what you intended, it went right over my head. It's a cool image, but the name certainly gives it a sinister quality.
