Marvellous abstract John! The shafts of light look like they're coming from the 3rd eye of a ghostly skull. Wonderful colouring and you've achieved great spatial depth to your image. Arresting piece of work! Well done - as ever!
I like your interpretation. If I believed in a heaven this is the way it would be lit..excellent job, Mr. Cowardly, and one of the prettiest works I've seen of yours...good on you, my friend.
Marvellous depth and light to this. The small preview reminded me of scenes from Ancient Rome with people standing around in togas etc. - the rich ones, anyway. The full size reminds me more of cloisters in mist or fog and seems ripe for a medieval murder or mystery.
WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY

Yes, I'll be good, from now on! I promise. I wasn't ready to see angels, but John sent them and I must take heed. Thanks for the warning, John! I needed that! The image does have a heavenly appearance with the light rays in it. Nice one!
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

pretty flame... I'd make the whites more white, or heighten the contrast- will give more sense of "light". My favorite part of the flame, though, are the feathers closer to the top right corner. very soft, full, 3D. cool.
