That's... umm, I have a lot going through my mind right now. BUt I'll tell you that it looks to me more like a spirit flying at super-sonic through an enormous passageway, into the light, where there are other souls sitting like clerks and looking at it... way creepy. but lovely colors.

Not sure what I see here. It's full of energy, for sure, with a great sense of movement. It doesn't seem as depressing as the title suggests, thank goodness. On the other hand, the title is ambiguous and I think this might well work for the less obvious reading - this might make a spectacular sunset on an alien world, close to some distant sun. That, of course, would make the title far from depressing and suits the mood I get from this much better.
On the other hand, if we keep cooking the planet, perhaps the alternative, more obvious reading is better after all - and if we're that dumb, maybe the non-depressing mood is quite appropriate, after all. (Now that should _really_ cheer DigiCamMan up...)
Despite its obvious energy, I find this slightly flat emotionally. This is obviously going to be a quite personal thing to a very great extent, though, so take this with either the proverbial grain of salt (if you're watching your sodium intake) or an actual one (if you're not).
