I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

WHAT IS MAN WITHOUT THE BEASTS? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of the spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. ~Chief Seattle VISIT MY GALLERY
Another beauty and another lovely blue. I love the curls in this - they lend it a delicate elegance without undermining the overall structure.
I'm finding it a bit disorientating, though. If that is the staircase, where exactly is the sun? It looks as though either the sun is in the ground or the staircase is upside down. Not that I wish to rule either possibility out, but it would be unusual. Now, if the temple is in outer space or orbiting, perhaps, I can make better sense of it. I admit this choice of site would create some barriers to access unless these are aliens pre-equipped for space travel and it is hard to see natural selection arranging that one. It might also run into planning difficulties. On the other hand, for a culture which worshipped the sun, such a location would make sense - a group of dedicated priests/priestesses/initiates/etc. could live up there serving the sun for a time or a lifetime... Hmm... Just a thought.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
