Very very nice, and a perfect matching title; even Excalibur would've worked.
;) Good job.

Did you remove it from the stone John??? In that case you must be King - King John of Caedes! lol! wonderful reflections coming from it too - I am dazzled!

Lovely image. I really like the beautifully shaded pastels of this. A desktop woven of light and air, I think.

I don't really see a sword, though - more a crystal/glass/light column inside a dome. It reminds me of a scene from one of Marion Zimmer Bradley's novels so I suspect the column holds something which either needs protection from people or people need protection from...

Mysteriously beautiful - really excellent work.

Well, it was not buried with him then (have just looked at Cynlee's pic of his grave :)
Spectacular colourings here - I most definitely see the sword - surorounded by it's own magic.

Would that be Excaliber? Yes it does look like a sword. You've got King Arthur on your mind too. Nice colors. Do you mirror this right in Apop?

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
