Did you ever use to catch them and put them in a jar ?? I did and then I'd bring em' home and turn em' loose so they'd be around our flowers.......but they always flew away. Made me mad. LOL Thanks and all comments are greatly appreciated. J

Exquisite beauty trapped and crushed by thoughtless cruelty...

Stunning image. It looks as though the butterflies are made of light. Interesting jar - doesn't look much like the old jam jars around here! More like an elegant vase of some sort. Great colours.

Brilliant work. Keep making fractals - the butterflies would thank you for it if they could.

I remember those days ... tons of fun back then. I really like the swirling motion in this one & great colors too. Great job John.

I like the containment of the design so that it appears to be trapped in a glass vessel and the colors are so rich. It looks like what you said it was to me.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is one cool design; intricate yet simple. Colorful yet not overly so. And the title, how utterly perfect. It's a keeper.

Super Duper....and I loved reading all the hints about how to keep butterflies around, but I'm not so sure the PETA people are going to be happy with the Sheriff's idea...HA!...lovely, Mr. Cowardly, and these are going to be captured in my faves folder.
