It looks a little old and tarnished, might even have been part of a knights armor. The days are gone and it's forgotten only to be dusted off from time to time in a museum. Ahh but what stories it could tell. :-) LOL Thanks for the views and comments. J

Well, I'm liking the textures and the metallic shades. Again, your narrative skills complement so well this work of imagination, John. :)

Wow, I love the gradient in this. The whole image looks like different metals. It looks great against the black.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Very nice - really intriguing textures, as moofied1 says.

Fossilised folds of ancient, barely living skin, hanging crinkled, their owner forgotten by a world unable to find beauty in the old - at least when the old is human flesh and human mind... Carved stone, crevices filled with years and decades, perhaps centuries, of dirt... Seashell under a microscope, last known occupier an old limpet...

Does look a little crusty. Nice design and textures. Good to see you somewhat straight.

I know exactly what this is - I used to own it - it is part of the material of a dress I once had - really :)

Lovely texture and I love the colours too. I liked that dress as well - even though it was a million years ago.

Very cool John! Dont know how you get the texture in it like that but it looks great! I think it's been laying around for awhile the way it looks! lol

I can say with all certainty that this and one other one of yours...even though I can't find it in your gallery now...are some of the most detailed fractals I've ever had the privilege of seeing. I wish I could vote on this one and maybe there are some slots open yet..I'll look for it, Mr. Cowardly. Just amazing.
