Keith is right - and yep we keep telling him! lol! ...and never was a truer word spoken in your narrative John! ...we all need to stop rushing from one weekend to the other and live for today - hence my message below! ...another beautiful image - I have added both of your images to my favourites tonight.
"Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice, but for those who love, time is eternity."

It's running through too fast far as I'm concerned! In the words of a song title; "Im much too young to feel this damned old!" LMAO Another great job buddy..that's two in a row...watch it!! lol
A lovely design in beautiful shades - and a timely reminder?
I'm wondering about the foreground curves. The hour glass is really interesting - no top or bottom, so it cannot, of course, be turned when the sand has all passed through... But the foreground loop is curious. What can that mean?
A very philosophical image you have here, John. You're getting deep -- the sand in an hourglass encompassed by circular winds, showing the cyclical nature of life and time. I like it.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You are so right on about that, John! Sometimes we need reminding. The mixture of straight and curvy lines seems to represent two poles or two opposites, each in need of the other to compliment and complete their purpose as a symbol of union and oneness. The colors are optimal for making it warm and welcoming. Oh man, I better get to bed! LOL
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.
