They walk the path given them, their stride is strong and quick. They will not fail at the task, they are our heroes. All men and women from all walks of life, soldiers, policemen, firemen, and just ordinary people who stand up when needed to help others. They are our heroes and this is for them. I thank each and everyone of them. John

This is pretty amazing. Full sized - it reminds me of the inside of a Las Vegas hotel, you know the kind with the elevators looking out over the lobby. :)

Very impressive John. The golden light is beautiful. It appears to be resting on a sandy floor.

Beautiful work - it feels as if the "sky" is collapsing inwards, downwards, but not as though it is in any danger of collapsing completely.

I really like the design and colours, though I'm not sure about the fuzziness. I don't know if it would look better (to me) smoother or not, but maybe. I don't know if that even makes sense in terms of the flame, either, for that matter!

I almost fell of my chair when I saw the thumbnail. What a dazzler! It's extremely complelling and striking. This image does justice to these heroes, dear John. :)

A golden image John. The thumbnail reminded me of soldiers holding swords at a ceremony of sorts...with the swords being lighted by an outside source such as the sun! The detail is crisp, the quality is high, the color is warm and awesome and the entire composition of the creation is incredible. Thank you for sharing this with me ;=)

It's beautiful, John. Like a Golden Globe or an Oscar for everyone of the folks whose work benefits others. A very fine tribute.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
