After a bit of an absence, partly vacation but mostly tax season...busy for bookkeeping businesses... I'm glad to be back out here with at least 'some' regularity. I've missed everyone and am glad to have a little more time again.
Beautiful work - lovely colours, marvellous design. It looks as though the fragments - of promises broken, of ruined friendships, of lost memories and missed or spoiled opportunities - are still somehow part of wholes - still part of a life which maintains relative unity, connectedness, health and integrity. Maybe two wholes - parent and child? - who seem almost connected by fragments, by a bond created from what is broken but still, somehow made whole.
Which is weird, so I'll shut up now too late. It looks great, anyway.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

I like the fact that the one connection that the "broken promise" has is blue. I don't think your concept would have worked had it turned out any other color. There has to be sadness in a broken promise depiction, but this is so colorful I wasn't getting that feeling until I noticed the color of the connecting part. Well, it makes sense to me and it's on my hard drive, so what more could you ask?
Bravo John...Bravo my friend!! This is wonderful !!!! The colours and the flow, the sharpness, the total feel of this is just absolutely magnificient(as usual!!)...I love it..Verena
