Beautiful. It makes me think of the oil in the Temple lasting to keep the lamp alight until more supplies were arrived... the "Festival of Lights"... the role of light in pagan traditions... the way places like Avebury are atuned to the light... such a critical thing of such overwhelming importance. Only recently have we had the luxury of taking it for granted. But at what cost?
