AAAHHH the memories this bings back. The curtain opens , I go on, I sing, I dance, no audience or applause. I then get arrested for breaking into the theater.......hhhmmmm :(

Beautiful. Makes me think of Miss Haversham in _Great Expectations_ (which I hated) or Tom Stoppard's _Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead_ (which I really like, though must not say that too loudly in this house - or even type it too loudly, though luckily the cat is purring to cover up the sound rather accommodatingly).
