Unusual. The poor heart seems trapped! I love the colours and dramatic feel. A beautiful work my friend. :)

Wonderfully dark and foreboding. Definitely from the shadowed worlds of fantasy... or reality. It is what might take its place if it does not return that may be the most worrying concern of all.

I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.

If it's possible for a fractalist, such as yourself, to go through a Picasso stage, then this is what it looks like :)

PJ has made a good point. It is very abstract looking, but definitely identifiable as a heart.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

I'm not really sure here, John. I go with the Picasso thing Lil PJ mentioned. But dang!, let the poor little heart out :)

that's interesting... and a good choice of colors. the quality's a bit rough on me monitor, but I like it: i think it adds to the image.

One of the greatest ghost stories ever written. This is a fitting tribute. M.R. James would be impressed.
