Our flowers are little different here in OZ. Most have some sort of green in them to go with the Emerald City. The Scarecrow took the picture cause he's got the brains and I'm not much good with cameras, paws you know. :) LOL Anyway thought you might like to see one of our flowers. Thanks for the views and comments, p.s. This is my post and not from John, he showed me how. :) The Lion

Well, Mr. Lion, you can tell your friend John, that he instructed you quite well and you have some of the prettiest Ozian flowers I have ever seen!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

It would be very difficult not to pick this and put it on my jacket or wrist. Such a beauty.

I don't believe you, Mr. Cowardly..I see pawprints all over these lovely flowers..besides, the scarecrow has straw for fingers...he'd never have enough strength to press the shutter :O)

Hey, it kind of goes with my post from yesterday. I can hear the witch saying, "Poppies, sleep my little pretties." That was just outside of Oz. Nice one John

I think the flowers there are just as nice as those in the 'real' world if this is anything to go by. I love the colour combination - two of my favoutites :)

I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
