Well done, John. As you know, my experience and expertise in fractals is, well, zilch. Therefore, my comments are strictly based on aesthetics. This caught my eye (ouch, dammit:P) in the new images gallery,and I came for a closer look.
Great color contrast, symmetry, texture, and overall composition. I don'tknow if it's a by-product, an intentional aspect, or what, but there seems to be a bit of noise just at the inner fringes of the black background, in each of the four quadrants.
Overall,this looks great. Faves for the hell of it ;-)

I'm so far behind, that I can't even catch up to myself, but my pies are all made, so that means I'm ready for tomorrow. I just got out of the voting booth, and I gave this one a 10..had to see whose it was and was so glad to see it was our own Mr. Cowardly's ...you've been letting things render while you're healing...that's great..
