With this image I mark a milestone here at Caedes, I now have 100 full pages of images. That's 1200 for those of you who need to take your socks off. LOL Let me break that down for those of you that don't know or do fractals. Fractals take roughly 3hrs an image, 1.5 hrs to make, 1.5 hrs to render. Times vary of course with each image, in making (some less) and rendering (most take longer) so this is just a ballpark estimate. If you figure it that way though ......that's 3600 hrs. It would take you 24hrs a day, 7days a week for 5 months (30 day month) to accomplish this. :) The reason I'm telling you this is not for praise but just to let you know the Ol' Lion is tired. I will be taking a break and relax for the time being, I will still be around and post and comment on occasion but probably not as often. It has been a grand time and I luv ya all....... I'm not gone..........just stepping back in the shadows for a bit. :) Take care :) John, Gwen and Maggie May :)

Sorry to hear you are backing off, but can totally understand. I, myself spend way too much time doing what you have been doing and neglecting other things! Like right now, I should be doing laundry but am stuck here and have Apo running in the background. My family does sometimes feel neglected!

I love this image - a touch of purple for we purple lovers and such beautiful coppery bronze intricascies.
I will miss my daily dose of Mr Lions magic - but lions need to relax in the sun as well and I hope you enjoy your rest.

While I am very sad to hear the news about your leaving us... and our adoration and deep appreciation for you and your work 'behind'...I do understand John...but you will miss us...and that will hasten your quick return....;o)

As I have said a number of times prior....while I do not undertand your type of artistry....I never failed to appreciate the dedication and the time involoved in producing fractals...I can understand better now after reading your words admittedly....you are a great artist...and I did take note of your lovely work on 'the other site'...it is so beautifully presented in this format...I just love it!!

Now...for a little humor...who in all the world will lead us down the 'yellow brick road' to your residence..your secret residence in 'Oz'? To speak further on the subject...I have yet to meet a 'lion' with your courage... to step back into the 'shadows'....I must say....soooooooo...it is an 'absolute' that you will return to us to recover your lost courage....Lol...Lol....;o)) That having been said....I will look forward to your revisiting us often...and with pleasure...I will miss seeing our 'friendly' lion on my pages....;o(
